What are Vector Graphics?

Print and web have very different requirements, but even within those categories, there are many different ways you can go that are far more complicated than simply choosing between vector or raster.

When having a logo designed, it is very important to understand the difference between these two. Your graphic designer should be knowledgeable to provide both vector and raster files for use for print or web.

The difference between the two? Vector graphics are very viable part of large format printing. As you can see in the image above, the vector image is very crisp and clean. The raster image will have some fuzzy when enlarged.

Raster images are great for digital formats and vector images are great for printing such as large banners, car decals, cups, t-shirts, flyers, posters, anything is to be printed.
